Tanya ter Keurs, BSN, MN NP(F), Co-Active Coach
Founder and Principal
I am a unique combination of coach and health care provider; passionate about helping others realize the possible in their professional and personal lives; realigning their lives with their goals in order to fulfill their dreams.
I have worked in health care for 14 years, 10 of those years in rural family practice as a Nurse Practitioner. I am privileged and honoured to have walked with people through some of the most exciting and challenging times of their lives. My NP practice has allowed me to grow daily in my medical skills and knowledge as well as in my interpersonal skills. It has also allowed me to help grow other Nurse Practitioners as a contract instructor with Athabasca University in the Masters of Nursing Nurse Practitioner program and contract OSCE examiner with the BC College of Nursing Professionals.
In addition to being a family NP, I am also a sitting board member of the South Okanagan and Similkameen Divisions of Family Practice. I have been involved at the provincial and local level in the work of implementing Primary Care Networks.
Finally, I am proud to be a Co-Active Coach. Having completed the Co-Active Coaching program through the Coaches Training Institute I am now actively involved in coaching Nurses of multiple stripes: RN's, NP's, LPN's and RPN's.
